Executive Assistant - Corporate law (US Law Firm). Supporting a Partner and team paying up to £50,000 - Liverpool Street.

Situated in amazing offices a stones throw from Liverpool Street station - 4 days in the office / 1 from home.

  • Produce high quality documents on MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel as required by the fee earners.
  • Deal with document issues - reformatting, tidying, inserting pictures and charts etc.
  • Email and document management -file emails and documentation relevant to client matters promptly once they have Preparing marketing materials.
  • Collate and maintain up-to-date client contact information details and update databases accordingly.
  • Provide a full and extensive administrative service to fee earners; filing, diary management, travel arrangements, time entry, expenses and general administration without supervision and with a proactive approach. Ability to prioritise work effectively across a number of fee earners is essential.
  • Assisting with matter opening - including highlighting any possible conflicts, preparation of Engagement Letters and possible waivers, and completing the firm's AML process.
  • Liaison with clients - ability to prioritise calls and take appropriate action. Handle telephone calls in a professional and polite manner; take accurate messages and follow up on agreed action. Liaise with colleagues, clients and third parties with professionalism and consideration.
  • Proactively providing cover for other secretaries and the reception
  • team where necessary.

Previous legal experience (at least 4 years' experience), preferably at a major City or US law firm, in a corporate discipline is essential for this role together with an advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and other MS Office
products.
