A highly reputable Law firm that's admired around the world, is seeking a Legal PA for their market leading Patent Litigation team.

Salary - £46,000

Location - St Paul's

Hybrid - 3/2

Despite their modest size this firm has a brilliant reputation within their sector and can boast an impressive client base that's full of household names.

This legal PA role involves working for 3 well established Partners and their team of associates. Considered a fun group and a delight to work for by their peers, the Partners could not be easier to get along with and are looking for a like minded individual for the team.

It is an absolute must that the successful Legal PA has strong secretarial skills, coupled with a can-do attitude. Patents or Litigation experience would be great but given the firms refreshingly open-minded approach they're aware that skills from other areas of law are transferable!

For an idea of some the Legal PA duties involved, please see the list below:

  • Effective and proactive diary management, and awareness of Fee Earners' workloads to plan ahead
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and understanding of Fee Earners' matters to enable a proactive support service
  • Researches new clients/contacts and prepares bios before meetings, and conducts basic research (on-line or otherwise) for Fee Earners when required
  • Arranges travel and any other activities on behalf of others, where appropriate
  • Provides excellent service to clients, both internal and external, in a timely and professional manner, presenting a positive image of the Firm at all times
  • Provides assistance in the delivery of marketing communications, and records all business development meetings in InterAction
  • Organises business development meetings and events for Fee Earners, and assists in the production of business development materials in liaison with the Marketing team
  • Creates typed work of a high quality, formatting in accordance with house style, at high speed, with accuracy
  • Makes effective use of the Document Management System
  • Proactively uses initiative to compose and send on behalf of Fee Earners, correspondence
  • Prepares bills (including bill narratives) with minimal supervision, as required by Fee Earners
  • Prepares AML documentation and obtains relevant documentation from clients in a timely manner, as required by Fee Earners
  • Carries out conflict searches
